You can spend relaxing days on white sandy beaches, swimming in the azure blue waters, exploring the underwater world with a snorkel, and embracing the island's laid-back atmosphere. In the evenings, soak up the stunning sunsets.

Day 1 – Arrival in Con Dao

After a short 45-minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll find yourself on the serene island of Con Dao. It’s a true oasis of peace, completely different from the bustling city of Saigon. On Con Dao, time seems to slow down, allowing you to fully unwind and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you. You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, a peaceful beach resort with a swimming pool.

Days 2-3 – Relax and explore

It’s easy to while away several hours just relaxing beside the beach, but the island has so much more to offer. It’s easy to explore on two wheels or by foot. You can take a guided walk through the lush tropical forest of Dam Tre, in the remote north of Con Dao. On this trek, you might encounter the local macaques that call the area home. After your forest walk, explore the archipelago’s underwater world by snorkelling in the nearby bay, surrounded by lush tropical forest. The island has a dark history and was the location of a notorious political prison, built by the French. It’s possible to visit several prisons on the island and learn more about the former prisoners and the island’s history.
