Accommodation in Vietnam
When you travel with us you’ll experience a variety of different styles of accommodation, each with its own individual charm. We opt for small-scale accommodation, independently owned, and packed with plenty of local character.
To help you understand more about the type of places you’ll be staying in when you travel across the country, we have categorised our accommodation in to four different levels – In Style, Standard, Simple & Basic.
From homestays with hill tribes to eco farmstays and secret beach retreats, you’ll be sure to stay somewhere that truly reflects the culture and nature of your surroundings.
In Style Accommodation – Category 4
If you’re looking for accommodation with a touch of class then our In Style options should be just right. In this category you can expect a little extra something in terms of facilities or service. It could be a luxury bungalow surrounded by rice paddies, a stylish beach resort or a hotel in the heart of the city with a roof-top swimming pool.
Standard Accommodation – Category 3
Our standard option will give you small-scale charm full of local character in great locations. You can expect a river lodge on the banks of the Mekong, an eco farmstay in the heart of a national park or a boutique city hotel.
Simple Accommodation – Category 2
In the simple category location is key. Who needs a swimming pool when the great blue ocean is just steps from your door? Although the rooms are a little sparse you could be in a cosy hotel in the hills, cruising through karst landscapes on a traditional Chinese junk boat or sipping cocktails on the porch of your beach bungalow.
Basic Accommodation – Category 1
Our basic accommodation is all about unique experiences. You could stay in a stilted hut with the local hill tribes or take an overnight sleeper train, sharing your cabin with the local Vietnamese. This category offers you the perfect way to rub shoulders with the locals.
