Day 1 – Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

You’ll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon as it is also known, and be taken straight to your boutique hotel in the heart of District 1, within close proximity to the wonderfully authentic Ben Thanh Covered Market and many of the city’s main attractions.  The hotel itself oozes class and has an exceptional rooftop swimming pool from which to escape the humidity. Interconnecting rooms are available.

Day 2 – Explore the city & evening vespa street food tour

If you haven’t already, today is the day to tackle the streets! Crossing the road may seem daunting at first – especially with kids – but you’ll soon be pros. The daytime is yours to do as you please and there is plenty to keep you busy, from trawling the stalls at Ben Thanh to visiting the underground war rooms of the Reunification Palace. Dam Sen Water Park is also a particular hit with families and don’t forget to take in a water puppet show!

This evening, you’ll join the organised chaos in the most exhilarating way possible! Riding pillion on a vintage Vespa, you’ll head out with your experienced driver as part of a small group to enjoy the real sights and sounds of Saigon. Without doubt, this is a real Rickshaw favourite and loved by families of all ages. Along the way, you’ll stop at hidden street food stalls, tasting authentic and delicious dishes as you go. The night ends with a spot of live music at a local venue before you wave goodbye to your new friends and are returned to your hotel.

Day 3 – Departure from Ho Chi Minh City

Today it is time to leave the bright lights and busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City behind and depart for the next stop on your adventure.  For an entirely different experience, the serene waters of the Mekong Delta or the jungles of Cat Tien National Park are easily reached by road – with the rest of the country linked by rail and air.  Wherever you may be heading next, we’ll arrange everything in advance so you needn’t worry about a thing.

Of course, if you want longer here then additional nights can easily be added.
