Day 1 – Arrival in Hoi An

Arriving in Hoi An, you’ll be taken straight to your boutique riverside hotel located on the tiny islet of An Hoi. You’ll be a stone’s throw from the old town but far enough away that you can easily escape the crowds during the busy spells of the day. There is also a refreshing outdoor pool for you to cool off in, a spa to indulge in, and a kids corner for the smaller ones.

Day 2 – Free time

There is so much to see and do in Hoi An that the large majority of your time is yours to move at your own pace, do as you please, and unearth hidden gems as you explore the tangle of winding streets that form the UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a cyclo ride around the town, visit the night market, and don’t forget to pick up some custom made clothing from the many tailors that line the streets – great fun for all the family!

Outside of the main centre, you’ll find rolling rice paddies and rural villages just waiting to be discovered by bicycle and sandy beaches with a relaxed vibe. Hoi An is also one of the finest places in Vietnam for snorkelling and diving, with numerous dive centres nearby. Further afield, we can also help you arrange day trips to Marble Mountain, Golden Bridge, and My Son Sanctuary – just speak to your friendly travel specialist!

Day 3 – Cookery class

Hoi An is a dream destination for any foodie, and with so many dishes to choose from and places to dine out, what better way to introduce your kids (and yourself!) to new foods and flavours than through an interactive cookery class? You’ll start the morning off with a guided walk around the colourful market, bartering with locals for your ingredients, before taking a boat ride along the river back to the school. You’ll then cook up a storm as you’re taught all about traditional Viet cuisine before settling down for a home made lunch. The rest of the day is yours at leisure.

Day 4 – Departure from Hoi An

All good things must come to an end and today it is time to wave goodbye to Hoi An and move on to your next destination.  We’ll arrange all of your transfers and domestic travel in advance, so you needn’t worry about a thing.

If you fancy a little longer in this idyllic town, your stay is fully flexible – speak to your travel specialist about adding extra days.
