And with a bunch of fellow travellers seeking the same experience, this adventure is sure to be the one to remember.
Tent Camping Koh Kye Island Thailand

Day 1 – Beachside stay in Chumphon

Tonight, you’ll stay in a simple but comfortable beachside hotel in Chumphon, a place untouched by mass tourism (a rare find in Thailand!). The only tough decisions to be made here are whether to have a dip in the pool or the sea, and what to have for dinner. While there are very few tourists, the food shacks are aplenty and most of them are right by the beach. Dinner with a view, anyone? Fuel up and have some good rest ahead of your adventures tomorrow.

Days 2 -3

After a good night sleep you’ll be ready for the main event. Together with other travellers you’ll head to the harbour, hop on a small fishing boat and sail towards a secret island with no one else around. Surrounded by pristine coral reefs perfect for snorkelling, this slice of paradise is all yours for the night. Your guide will help you set up the tent before you head out to explore the island and collect wood for the bonfire. After a delicious barbecue dinner you can watch the starry skies, listen to the sound of crashing waves and enjoy the stories of your travel companions! While there’s no Friday, the Robinson Crusoe feel is certainly there.

The following morning after breakfast you’ll hop back on the boat and head back to the mainland.
