Responsible travel in Thailand & Laos

Our passion for responsible travel means that, when you visit Thailand, you’ll experience more than just a holiday. You’ll meet new people, learn about the culture, stay in some memorable places, and support local communities along the way.

As one of Asia’s most popular destinations, Thailand has developed a lot over the past two decades. Our customers love experiencing the real Thailand and enjoy making genuine connections with the local people they meet along the way. You’ll soon see that Thailand has some of the best beaches, farmland, and jungles in South East Asia…and we want to keep it that way!

Our trips

Throughout our trips, we like to include rewarding experiences that make good things happen for you and the places you visit. Our homestay in Surat Thani will give you the chance to learn all about the community project in this area. You’ll spend the night with a host family, where you can sample some delicious home cooking. By staying here instead of in a hotel, you’ll directly contribute towards the lives of the local people in this rarely-visited area.

Our accommodation

Where you rest your head at night is just as much part of the adventure as the places you visit during the day. We think it’s important that you stay somewhere that reflects the true character of the area you’re in – whether it’s a cosy boutique hotel or a luxury tented lodge by the river. That’s why we tend to steer clear of chain hotels. Instead, we work with lots of small-scale, locally-owned places with plenty of character.

Our Thailand travel specialists

Our travel specialists are passionate about all things Thailand; lush jungles, pretty beaches and arguably some of the best food in Asia! The Land of Smiles has been personally experienced by all our specialists so they can advise on the best places to go when and pass on their handy tips.

Our Thailand travel specialists know and love all things Thailand. They’ve eaten the street food, hiked the trails, taken the trains, and island-hopped to their favourite beaches. Find out more about their travels and tips for getting the most out of your time in Thailand.

Plain of Jars laos

Our trips

We try to ensure that our bite-sized trips include rewarding experiences that make good things happen for you and the places you visit. While exploring Laos, why not make a stop at the Plain of Jars. Not only will you find out more about the mysterious history surrounding these stone structures, but you can also learn all about Laos culture with a visit to our local project.

Our accommodation

We think it’s important that where you lay your head is just as authentic as everything else you experience in Laos. That’s why, wherever possible, we opt for small-scale, locally-owned accommodation, full of local flavour and charm. Not only is this more memorable for you, but it’s a way of giving back to the local communities too.

Our Laos travel specialists

Our specialists love Laos; the history, the tasty French-inspired cuisine, and sweeping valleys. They’re passionate about our trips and have experienced many of them first-hand, so they’ll answer any niggling questions and make planning your trip feel effortless.

Our local partner in Laos

We work with a local partner in Laos who supports our sustainability mission and passion for responsible travel. Our product managers and local partners frequently explore new, sustainable and unique experiences together, to share with our customers. We also use local Laotian guides and drivers during all of our excursions. Not only does this make for a more rewarding experience for you, but it also puts money into the pockets of the local people. Plus, you’ll have the advantage of your guide’s knowledge, so you can learn all about the culture from a local!
