Meet our local partners
By working closely with our local office in Thailand, we can ensure you have a friendly face to greet you on arrival and are in the capable hands of their knowledgeable and helpful staff. They’ll guide you through their home country, offering tips along the way to ensure that you get the most out of your trip. Read on for the low-down on our partner in Thailand.
Who are they?
Our knowledgeable and professional local partner in Thailand were established in 1993 and are now one of the biggest inbound tour operators in the country. Based in one of the districts of Bangkok their mission is to offer tours which maximise the positive effects of tourism on individuals and local communities, while minimising negative social, environmental and economic impacts.
Meaningful journey
Our Thailand partners share our meaningful travel values and focus on sustainable tourism. They achieved their Travelife certification in 2015 and are also active supporters of ChildSafe Tourism. They offset the carbon footprint of their family of companies annually working with Plant a Tree Today Foundation (PATT) in Thailand. On top of this they support responsible animal in tourism practices, and have their own animal welfare policies in place. Our local partner has built Anurak Community Lodge in Khao Sok National Park, using a sustainable approach and employing local people from the area.
Our local partner in Laos
We work with a local partner in Laos to ensure things run as smoothly as possible for you during your trip. Not only will you have a friendly face to greet you when you arrive, but they’ll be on hand to support you 24/7 should you need them, with three offices spread across the country. We’ve worked with our Laos partners for a long time because they share our passion for making good things happen through travel and have tons of in-depth knowledge about travelling in Laos.
Who are they?
Our local Laos partners started way back in 1993 with a mission to grow their service and provide quality tourism, while always thinking about people and the planet. They pride themselves on building meaningful connections, showing innovation and offering personal travel experiences for our customers.
They believe that, through collaboration with their partners and engaging in sustainable business practices, they can play a positive role in the development of their country.
Making good things happen together
Our partners in Laos have started their own charity, set up to help disadvantaged people through community development, conservation, environmental and empowerment projects. These donations go to a range of different organisations, hospitals and schools to train people, keep them healthy and employ staff.
When it comes to accommodation, our partners aim to use the best sustainable places around and often engage in discussions to encourage hotels to either adopt more sustainable practices or continue the development.
