Day 1 – Beachside stay in Chumphon

Welcome to Chumphom, an unassuming beachside town somehow omitted by the crowds. As if time travel was possible, this place sure feels like Thailand 30 years ago! Small hotels, plenty of beach shacks with street food, wide sandy beach and very few tourists. Here you’ll have a lazy afternoon, whether it be by the hotel pool or at the nearby beach. Take in all the comforts of the modern world before your adventure tomorrow!

Day 2 – The adventure begins

This morning you’ll take a small backpack and head to the pier, where a small boat with your guide will be waiting. Hop in, and in just a few moments you’ll find yourself on a pristine island. Tall swaying palms, white sandy beach and not a soul around (well, apart from your guide and your travel companions). Here you’ll feel like a modern day Robinson Crusoe: making a bonfire, catching your dinner and setting up your tent. In the evening, as the sun goes down, you’ll all gather around to share your freshly cooked dinner and a few travel stories.

Day 3 – Departure

This morning you’ll have your breakfast on the island, pack your things and help clean the beach. It’s important to keep it untouched and a great way to show the kids what impact we have on the surrounding environment! Your boat will be waiting to take you back to the mainland, and to the modern living.
