Accommodation in Sri Lanka

We specialise in hand-picked, small-scale accommodation full of local character. You could spend a night with a local family, in a charming colonial hotel or in a safari tent surrounded by the sounds of Yala National Park. We use different categories to classify our accommodation in Sri Lanka.

In Style Accommodation – Category 4

In this category you’ll discover accommodation that offers a touch of something truly extraordinary. Some extra creature comforts here, a little more style there or an unrivalled location. It could be an eco-friendly resort surrounded by mangrove forests and winding rivers, a spacious cottage amongst tropical gardens or a British-themed hotel amongst the tea hills.

Standard Accommodation – Category 3

When picking hotels for this category, we’re looking for something small-scale with typical Sri Lankan character and a warm welcome. You could stay in a rural hotel with panoramic views of the mountains, a cosy B&B in a National Park or a relaxing retreat on an undiscovered beach.

Simple Accommodation – Category 2

Sometimes in Sri Lanka the comfort of your accommodation just isn’t as important as what you’ll experience. In this category you might stay in a local family home where you can get a unique insight into Sri Lankan life, a modest guesthouse in the shadow of Adam’s peak or a tented lodge where you can fall asleep to the sounds of nature.

Basic Accommodation – Category 1

This category reflects the basic yet unforgettable experience of staying at our eco lodge in Digana, just outside of Kandy. You may be going back to basics but this is a unique experience focusing on sustainable tourism.
