Unawatuna beach

Day 1 – Arrive in Unawatuna

Unawatuna is the perfect place to wind down and relax with your family. With palm trees lining the beaches, golden sands, turquoise waters and a great choice of restaurants, it’s a great spot so spend a few days. Your charming hotel, surrounded by gardens, is only a short walk from the beach and has a refreshing pool for you all to enjoy. This evening you can go for a walk along the bay, check out the local restaurants in the street behind, or enjoy a home cooked curry in the hotel’s garden.

Day 2 – Free time

This morning you’ll have breakfast at the hotel before spending the day relaxing on the golden beach. You can grab some snorkelling gear and take a swim in the turquoise ocean on the lookout for marine life. If your family like to be more active, the hotel also offers kayaking, kiteboarding and fishing trips which you can book on arrival.

Day 3 – Departure

Today is your last day in Unawatuna. Before you leave you’ll have time for one last dip in the pool. But if you want to do a little more exploring, you can take a walk in the area. For views of the Galle Fort in the far distance, head up the hill behind Yaddehimilla Road or walk over through the dense canopy to the isolated Jungle beach.
