Glamping adventure in Wilderness
The Garden Route along the coast towards the town of Wilderness is as lush as it gets. Time to kick off your shoes and walk barefoot through the sands, as Wilderness is also known for its long sandy beaches, in addition to its forests, rivers, lakes and lagoons. You’ll stay in a glamping tent on a 180-year-old dairy farm in the middle of the woods. Once you are all unpacked, you can light up the fireplace or sneak into your own hot tub. In front of your tents, there will be a few horses and cows that look on curiously.
If you’re an active family you may wish to include a canoe trip in the area. We can arrange an excursion on the scenic Touws River. Ask your Travel Specialist for more details.
Glamping adventure in Swellendam
The next few nights you will stay in a luxury glamping tent on the Bree River, about a 20-minute drive from Swellendam. This glamping camp is run by grain farmer Jaco, who lives here with his wife and daughters. There is a swimming pool and you can rent canoes for a paddle on the Bree River, or hike through the Marloth Nature Reserve in the mountains of Swellendam. On the evening of your arrival you will receive a braai package, so you can enjoy a nice barbecue around your own fire pit. And in the morning your breakfast will be delivered to your tent in a basket.
Glamping adventure in Cederbergen
The Cedar Mountains is a small mountain range that is characterized by its wide landscapes and dry rocks. Here you will find the only place in the world where Rooibos tea grows. In the area you can take scenic walks through the rugged terrain, taste tea or Piekenierskloof wines and look for rock paintings of the ‘San’, the original inhabitants of this part of Africa. Your glamping tent is located near the serene coast, so you can enjoy the dark starry sky in the evening!
Glamping adventure in Oudtshoorn
Ready to drive along one of the most beautiful routes of South Africa? Route 62 takes you right through the outback past high cliffs, crystal clear rivers, vineyards and hot springs. After each mountain pass, the landscape looks different. The coming few days you’ll sleep in a luxury safari tent, located on the grounds of an ostrich farm. But the ostriches are not the only animals you can spot. There are also zebras, springboks, kudu, impala and other wildlife on the site. It almost feels like you are on a safari. You can enjoy the beautiful view over the lake from your own wooden terrace and there is plenty of space for the children to play.

As soon as you hear the horn ring, race your kids to the water’s edge and see the whale tails out of the water. Want to see these giants up close? We can arrange a whale watching boat trip.
