Siesta in Santa Cruz
Bite-sized tripDay 1 – Arrival in Santa Cruz
On arrival you’ll be met by one of our local representatives who’ll whisk you away to your central hotel in the city, within walking distance from the main square. The rooms here are quite simple and are furnished with dark wood furniture and colourful bedspreads. In the evening you can take a walk to one of the many restaurants, the food here is very multicultural so you’ll have plenty of choice.
Day 2-3 – Santa Cruz – free time
Santa Cruz is a popular trading spot and has a distinctly colonial atmosphere, despite the many modern buildings in the city centre. The Los Pozos market is a good place to hunt for souvenirs. With its 1.5 million inhabitants, Santa Cruz is a lively place that offers plenty in terms of cultural activities. Find a spot on one of the many shady benches in the Plaza and just watch the world go by.
Departure from Santa Cruz
