Inca Trails & Amazon Rainforest: Our Peru Adventure
Blog
“Everything ran like clockwork, all the drivers were on time and our guides on the walking tours of Lima and Cusco, Eliana and Carolina, were both excellent. We had really good walks with them and learnt a lot, but also had fun!
We were thrilled with our upgrade in Cusco. We loved the Tariq boutique hotel and the San Blas area in general. We added on going to see the salt plains and visiting a textile (touristy) place in Chinchero on our way to Ollantaytambo.”
“The lodge in Ollantaytambo was charming (quite quiet) and the host was really lovely and gave us some great recommendations. We were glad to have an extra day there exploring and climbing up to the pre-Inca ruins.
Machu Picchu – I thought it would be really crowded but actually it was so well organised, the guide was great and the group were very friendly – we loved it!”
“Finally the Amazon Rainforest trip – the lodge was really good but sadly for them very empty. From a selfish point of view though, this meant we had our own guide for just the two of us. Harry, who was excellent, clearly loved his job and was very knowledgeable and a great spotter.”
