Day 1 – Travel over the border into Zimbabwe
You will be collected from your lodge in Kasane and travel over the border into Zimbabwe. For the next two nights you’ll be staying in a small, homely lodge just a short drive from the iconic Victoria Falls. As you will be arriving in the early afternoon, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore the waterfall and enjoy the swimming pool at your guesthouse.
Day 2 – Explore Victoria Falls
Today you’ll have a full day to appreciate the mighty Victoria Falls. You can embrace your inner adrenaline junkie and get involved with one of the many activities on offer including ziplining, bungee jumping or rafting. Seeing the roaring falls from above showcases how the water has carved its way through the rock for centuries, and you can arrange a scenic flight to get an even better view of the falls. You can experience Victoria Falls from both Zimbabwe and Zambia, each with a unique perspective and a relatively easy border crossing process. If you would like to see the falls from the Zambia side, you can cross the bridge to Zambia (day visa $20) for a closer, more immersive view from Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.
We haven’t included any excursions in the cost, so your choice of activity is up to you.
Day 3 – Departure from Zimbabwe
After breakfast head back over the border into Botswana. You’ll be collected and transferred back to Kasane and from here you can continue onto the salt pans of Botswana, or head on a safari in Chobe National Park, home to the world’s largest elephant population.

Victoria Falls - In Style accommodation
If you’d like to stay somewhere a little more special, we can upgrade your accommodation to a boutique lodge with a lovely garden and swimming pool in a quiet residential area of Victoria Falls. The lodge has a strong focus on environmental sustainability, using solar power to heat their water and energy-efficient air conditioning. In the evening, the reception staff will be happy to make a reservation in one of the restaurants in the city or you can enjoy a tasty dinner at the on-site restaurant.
Victoria Falls - Special stay accommodation
For a unique and luxurious upgrade, our special stay accommodation can be selected. This luxury lodge, located in the middle of nature offers direct transfers to and from these mighty waterfalls. All meals are included as well as various activities such as a guided visit to the Victoria Falls, lunch at the Lookout Cafe, a game drive, a game walk and a river safari. You sleep in a luxury canvas safari tent with a private deck and a small pool from where you might spot elephants if you’re lucky.
