Journey Through Thailand | Wendy & Alan

Blog
Wendy and Alan set off on their Thailand trip with Rickshaw Travel in August last year and we were super excited to see some of their photos when they returned home. They loved every second of their trip but we’ll leave it up to you to decide on your favourite snap…. Check out Wendy and Alan’s Thailand journey through a lens, with a running commentary from our lovely customers themselves:

This is us outside our floating raft. We have never experienced anything like this before and, wow, it was incredible. We saw elephants bathing in the river right outside our lodge and walked into the village where we saw the school and the local people who have no electricity and only cold water but just smiled all the time despite not having much at all.

This is in the village where the people were keen to have their photo taken, even the dog wanted to get in on the act.

Back to Bangkok on the night train, a real experience and great fun!

It was very moving to be on the River Kwai Bridge where so many POW soldiers worked and lost their lives.

We loved this trip on the train; it was an unbelievable experience in history.

Here are our Dutch friends who we met on the River Kwai trip and our wonderful guide Ben and driver Tam.

This was a real experience! No hot water, very little light, bats, monkeys on the balcony, spiders, lizards and the most incredible jungle noises at night. We wouldn’t have missed it for the world!!
Now for some sun, sea and sunbathing on Koh Samui. We had never been on such beautiful beaches!

Thanks to Wendy and Alan for sharing their brilliant photos with us!
