4 reasons to visit Thailand in November

Blog
Hop between tropical islands fringed with golden sands, trek to minority tribes, sleep in floating huts tucked away in green valleys and whip up traditional dishes in the kitchen. November is one of the best months to visit Thailand – here’s why…

Escape the beach crowds

It’s certainly true that Thailand’s popularity amongst tourists has increased over the last decade, but by heading out in November you’ll be travelling just before peak season and will have a better chance of getting that Robinson Crusoe beach (almost) to yourself! We’ve got some fantastic island options tucked up our sleeves, perfect for relaxing at the end of your Thailand itinerary.

Great flight prices

Flight prices are at an all time low for travel in November, with prices starting from £420. Our Thailand Travel Specialist, Emma is keeping her eyes peeled for the best deals to match with our itineraries so get in touch to hold your seats!

Best time for jungle fun

Head deep into wildest Thailand, where you’ll explore enchanting rainforests, swim in sparkling natural lakes and sleep on a floating raft house. November is a fantastic time to visit the rainforest as the temperatures are slightly cooler and there will be less rain. On the Khao Sok lake you’ll find only a few other tourists; it might be basic, but the setting is out of this world. You’ll head here after a stay in a community lodge in the National Park where you’ll cruise down the river in a kayak with a local guide.

A different kind of winter

For those based in Europe, the thought of winter leaves us shivering and reaching for our heated blankets. Not so much for the Thais! The best weather kicks off in November, when the monsoon season is long gone and the sun has his hat on almost everyday. Temperatures won’t reach their peak until late December so November is the perfect month to enjoy the sun whilst getting active on your trip.
