Surfing in Taghazout

Day 1 – Arrival in Taghazout
Today you will travel to Taghazout, just an hour from Agadir, or three to five hours from Marrakech or Ouarzazate. As you enter the village through its newer development, you’ll see the traditional fishing village blending with newer parts of town driven by its discovery as a prime surfing destination. Settle into your beachside accommodation, a modern bungalow with two bedrooms, perfect for a family of four. Relax on your veranda and enjoy the sea view as you toast to the start of your adventure.
Day 2 – Surf lesson
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast on the terrace, featuring fresh fruit, bread, and orange juice. Afterwards meet your surf instructor and prepare for an exciting day on the waves. Depending on your skill level, your instructor will choose the ideal beach. Beginners might start right outside your door, while more experienced surfers might head to spots like Panoramas, Hash Point, or Anchor Point. After some on-land instruction, you’ll hit the waves!
Day 3 – Free time
Today is yours to spend as you wish. If you’re eager for more surfing, we can arrange another lesson, or you can hire a board locally. Alternatively, you can relax and enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool, play volleyball on the beach, or stroll to the old village for a bite to eat. The scenic walking path to the village takes about 20 minutes and offers plenty of dining options.
Dag 4 – Departure from Taghazout
Today your time in Taghazout comes to a close, you’ll can drive to Agadir airport from here or head to Marrakech. If Taghazout is just the beginning of your journey, consider exploring further with hikes in the Atlas Mountains or a stay in a desert Bedouin tent.
