During this trip, you’ll explore the Belum Rainforest, trekking, monkey-spotting and drifting along gentle rivers. You’ll sleep in the rainforest’s only lodge and awake each day to a tropical dawn chorus.

Day 1 – Arrival in Belum Rainforest

Today, you’ll arrive at Belum Rainforest and spend the day settling into your secluded lodge in the heart of the jungle. The resort itself is calming and cosy, with natural bamboo touches and a swimming pool overlooking the rainforest. Set at the water’s edge, it’s a welcoming, relaxed retreat which will give you time to charge your batteries before exploring the jungle.

Day 2 – Belum Rainforest – jungle trek

After breakfast, you will discover this 130-million-year-old jungle in a small group with a guide. In contrast to the well-known Taman Negara, there are hardly any paved paths in this jungle, so you will take a boat across the reservoir and stop at various points to further explore the jungle on foot. You’ll go in search of the Rafflesia – the world’s largest flower, spot wildlife at a salt pan and enjoy a refreshing swim in a waterfall. A packed lunch will be served before the end of the tour.

Day 3 – Departure from Belum Rainforest

Today’s your final day so why not enjoy a peaceful breakfast down at the water’s edge and squeeze in a final swim, before leaving the rainforest. It’s a place of wild beauty that is sure to make adventure spirits soar.
