Day 1 – Trip to Vico Equense, Sorento
Today you’ll arrive in Vico Equense, a delightful suburb of Sorrento, where your hotel awaits with spacious rooms and the soothing sea breeze that drifts in from the Gulf of Naples. After your journey, take a moment to freshen up by floating in the swimming pool, all while enjoying the breathtaking views of the bay and the majestic Vesuvius volcano. Take the time to explore the centre of the city, where you’ll have a myriad of options to choose from – treat yourself to a delightful meal at one of the local eateries or simply meander through the charming streets, eventually finding yourself at the enchanting Piazza Tasso.
Days 2-3 – Pompeii, Vesuvius & pizza
Rise early the next morning for an exciting day of exploration right on your doorstep. Drive to the remarkable ruins of Pompeii, where you will find mesmerizing site that offers a glimpse into the ancient Roman Empire. After a spot of lunch, venture to the awe-inspiring volcano and if you’re lucky, you’ll have fantastic views over the Gulf of Naples. The following day you’ll have an immersive pizza workshop planned. Join an Italian chef and become a “Pizzasso”, as you put on your apron and chef’s hat. With your hands in the dough, you’ll have the opportunity to choose your favorite toppings and create your very own authentic Italian pizza.
Day 4 – Departure from Sorrento
After a well-deserved rest and a leisurely breakfast, it’s time to hit the road again and embark on the next leg of your journey. You have two equally enchanting destinations to choose from. Will you head to the Amalfi Coast, with its awe-inspiring vistas and captivating coastal allure? Or will you set your sights on Ostuni in Puglia, where olive groves stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a serene and idyllic landscape? Whichever path you choose, rest assured that both the Amalfi Coast and Ostuni promise unforgettable experiences that celebrate the beauty, culture, and flavours of Italy.
