Day 1 – Arrival Cefalú

Arrive at a lesser-visited stretch of Sicilian coastline today. Here, you’ll find sandy and pebble beaches, as well as secluded coves, inviting you to experience a tranquil and authentic coastal retreat. The centre of the fishing village has a medieval charm and because Cefalú is built against the mountain, you’ll find breathtaking views that stretch over terracotta rooftops, extending out to the glistening sea. As the afternoon unfolds, the village centre closes to traffic, creating an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility. Take the opportunity to leisurely roam the enchanting streets, allowing yourself to become acquainted with your new home for the coming days.

Days 2-3

Over the next few days in Cefalú, the choice is yours to indulge in the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Enjoy the sun, sea and tranquility, as you unwind on one of the beautiful beaches that grace the Cefalú area. Among them, Sant’Ambrogio is one of the quietest and only about 6 kilometers from the centre. If you’re in the mood for something more active, the other side of the city wall presents an enticing hiking trail. Follow this scenic route that traces the breathtaking coastline, guiding you from the old harbour to the mesmerizing lighthouse. Along the way, you’ll pass through several city gates, stroll through narrow streets adorned with traditional buildings, and be captivated by the grandeur of the Norman Cathedral.

Day 4 – Departure Cefalú

After breakfast today, it is time to pack your things and move on. You can drive from here to Palermo airport in about an hour. Alternatively, if you are staying a little longer in Sicily then step back in time at the Temple Valley of Agrigento,or combine relaxing mud baths with lava spewing volcanoes during a few days of island hopping in the Aeolian Islands.
