Day 1 – Arrival Ragusa

You’ll stay in a classic B&B perfectly nestled amidst the beauty of Ragusa Ibla, the old centre, ensuring that you’ll be immersed in the very essence of this captivating town.
Days 2-3 – Chocolate tasting in Modica
Today you’ll visit one of the other cities of the Baroque Triangle, the charming city of Modica. It is known for its exquisite chocolate that is thanks to the Spanish, who once ruled the island. With their flair for culinary delights, they brought the ancient Aztec methods of chocolate-making to Sicily, giving birth to the delectable Modican chocolate that delights visitors and locals alike. A scenic half-hour drive will lead you to the heart of the chocolate realm, where you’ll find the renowned chocolate house. Here, you’ll witness a demonstration of the art of chocolate-making, gaining insight into the traditional techniques and craftsmanship behind this Sicilian delicacy. Savour the indulgent taste of rich 90% cocoa, tantalizingly combined with aromatic flavours like vanilla, cinnamon, or ginger. The rest of your time you are free to explore Modica as you please, strolling through the enchanting streets, adorned with warmly lit facades of churches and stately mansions.
Day 4 – Departure Ragusa
After a delightful Sicilian breakfast on the terrace, it’s time to move on to your next adventure. In just two and a half hours, you can be in the vineyards on the north side of Etna or continue your explore the hidden coves of Avola.
