Responsible Travel in Indonesia

Our holidays are designed to make good things happen, for you and the places you visit. You’ll find that Indonesia has some of the most beautiful landscapes in South East Asia, from the rumbling volcanoes of Java to the soft white sands of Lombok and the Gilis – and we want to keep it that way.

Our passion for responsible travel means that you’ll experience far more than just a holiday. You’ll meet new people, learn about the culture, stay in some memorable places, and support local communities along the way.

Our trips

Our customers love experiencing the real Indonesia. Head off the beaten track in Bali, to stay on a friendly homestay overlooking the sprawling paddy fields. Or visit an orangutan project in the lesser-visited area of Kalimantan.

Our accommodation in Indonesia

Where you rest your head at night is just as important as the places you visit during the day. We hand-pick small-scale accommodation that’s packed full of local flavour and charm. Whether it’s a lodge in the Sumatran jungle or a stylish beach resort in Bali, we love finding accommodation that supports local business-owners and has plenty of wow factor.

Our local partner in Indonesia

We work with a local partner in Indonesia who shares our passion for responsible travel. Along with our team in the UK, they’re always on the lookout for unique experiences. We also only use local Indonesian guides and drivers during all of our excursions – even on the more remote islands like Sumatra and Flores. Not only does this make for a more rewarding experience for you, but it puts money into the pockets of the local people. You’ll also have a chance to learn a few local words from them – ideal for bartering at the markets!

Our Indonesia travel specialists

Our Indonesia travel specialists have travelled extensively across Indonesia. From the ancient temples of Java, along the gorgeous coast of Bali and all the way through remote Flores. They’ve sampled the huge variety of flavours in Indonesia, sunk their toes into the white sand of the Gili Islands and gone in search of the elusive Komodo dragon. They’re eager to share their love of Indonesia so that you can get the most out of your trip.
