Mumbai’s Secret Spices
Bite-sized tripDay 1 – Arrival in Mumbai
Upon arrival in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Large cities in India can be pretty hectic, so it’s nice to know you’ve got your first transfer sorted. Your hotel is located in the Colaba district, within walking distance to the famous Gateway of India and the lively and colourful Colaba market, shops and restaurants.
Day 2 – Free day & evening street food tour
You’ll have most of the day free to discover the sights and sounds of Mumbai yourself. In the evening it’s time to let your taste buds discover the city. You’ll head out on a tour of some of the best and most diverse street food that India has to offer. Taste Mumbai’s vegetarian favourites such as pav bhaji and pani puri then top it all off by satisfying your sweet tooth with hand-churned ice cream or super sugary jalebi.
Day 3 – Departure from Mumbai
Today it’s time to say goodbye to the city. If you have time before your onward flight why not take one last stroll through the bustling streets lined with merchants selling their wares? Perhaps you’ll find some souvenirs for friends back home. Alternatively you could stop by the famous Taj Hotel for a cup of coffee and something sweet to set you up for your next adventure.
