October half term holidays
October is a funny month across our destinations weather-wise but we have a couple of countries that we recommend at this time of year.
Borneo
October is one of the cheapest months of year to travel to Borneo as it is out of peak season, but if you travel to the east, then you shouldn’t experience too much rain. It’s still a good time to spot turtles, you and your family can get up close to orangutans and let the guides point out lots of other exciting wildlife on the Kinabatangan River – you can see so much in a short amount of time.
India
If you’re wanting to show your children the highlights of northern India, this is one of the best times to go weather-wise and flights are super cheap too, making the holiday a whole lot more affordable. You can get to India on a direct flight from London in less than 9 hours and we will arrange all your transport when you’re there making it easier to get around.
Iceland
Morocco
Morocco is a brilliant choice for a family adventure during the October half-term. The weather’s just right—not too hot, but still sunny enough for exploring. From bustling souks and camel rides in the Sahara to the vibrant colors of Marrakech’s gardens, there’s loads to keep both kids and adults entertained. You can even try your hand at cooking traditional Moroccan dishes together! With its mix of culture, adventure, and delicious food, Morocco makes for an exciting and memorable family holiday.
