Day 1 – Arrival in the Maipo Valley
Your Chile wine trip begins in the city of Santiago de Chile, where you’ll be picked up and transferred to the Maipo Valley. After about half an hour’s drive from Santiago you’ll come to a sloping hill filled with vineyards and orchards. You’ll stay in a simple but charming bed and breakfast with swimming pool for a lazy few days.
Day 2 – Maipo Valley – free time
Today you’ll have the entire day to do as you please. There are plenty of things to do in the area, a popular option is to book yourself a local wine tour to taste some world famous Chilean wine. These tours take you to visit local vineyards with the Andes Mountains as your backdrop. Alternatively you might just like to spend your time relaxing. Your hotel has a swimming pool with views of the mountains.
Day 3 – Departure from the Maipo Valley
Your time in the Maipo Valley ends today after breakfast. You’ll be collected from your hotel and driven back to Santiago ready for the rest of your Chile trip. The journey usually takes around half an hour, but sometimes can be a little longer if the traffic’s bad.
