Canada stand up paddle boarding

Day 1 – Arrive at sun peaks

You’ll follow winding roads through alpine meadows and pine forests until you arrive at the mountain resort of Sun Peaks. Your accommodation will be in the heart of the main village, with each room containing a spacious living area for the whole family to relax in after a busy day out and about. With the village on your doorstep, settle in by taking a stroll and exploring all the places to eat nearby – yum!

Day 2 – Paddle boarding on the lake

With so much to see and do, any family visiting Sun Peaks is guaranteed to enjoy their visit. We’ll organise your first adventure today out on the water. After an introduction from a local guide, you’ll head out onto the calm lake to try out stand-up paddleboarding. All the equipment is included for your rental as you glide around on the pristine water.

From adrenaline-fuelled downhill karting to hiking past waterfalls and wildflowers in search of the perfect alpine picnic spot, there are lots of activities to fill your time. Mountain biking is also extremely popular here and with some of the best trails to be found across British Columbia at your disposal, it only seems right to spend some time on two wheels. With trails to suit all ages and abilities, nobody need miss out. Bicycle and helmet rental is easily arranged locally.

Day 3 – Depart Sun Peaks

Today, it’s time to leave Sun Peaks, and head on to your next stop. Outside of all of the amazing adventure activities, the village plays host to a number of free music festivals throughout the summer, as well as weekly market days. If you’d like a little more time here then we can easily book extra nights – just speak to your Travel Specialist.
