Deep in the heart of Brazil lies the nation’s capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Brasilia. This new, modern city was built deep in the country's interior 50 years ago and replaced Rio de Janeiro as the nation's capital. Since the entire city needed to be built from scratch, its' architect Oscar Niemeyer had a significant influence on the modern, trendy character and design of the city. For anyone with an interest in architecture and art, this is a great place to visit.
