Who are they?
Founded in 1994, our local partners in Brazil have broad experience of Brazil’s travel market. The team travel extensively across the country on a regular basis – checking out new places to stay and authentic experiences, visiting up and coming destinations, and trying new self-drive routes. They share this first hand expertise and local knowledge with the Brazil specialists in the UK. They have extensive safety procedures and guidelines, and are on hand 24-7 for our customers when they are travelling in Brazil.
Meaningful journey
Our local partners are passionate about sustainability. As part of their mission, they want to stimulate and contribute to the development of tourism throughout Brazil in the most sustainable way possible. They believe that a growing number of foreign visitors, when received with care and responsibility, will raise awareness and help to preserve Brazil’s cultural heritage and nature, while at the same time improving the living conditions of its people and communities by offering new opportunities and jobs at a fair salary. From transfer to hotel, excursion to multi-day package, the team works in close cooperation with trusted local suppliers to assemble sustainable and meaningful experiences.
In 2015 our partners obtained the Travelife certificate of sustainable tourism for developing an action plan. They have implemented measures that resulted in a reduction of the use of paper, water, electricity, and provide efficient waste-management in the office. Efforts extend to suppliers: local agents, hotels, lodges and others received information from our partners on sustainable practices. This way our partners were able to ensure that most parts of their business are as sustainable as possible.
