Accommodation
For this bite-sized trip we offer the following options
Semenggoh Orangutan Centre
During your time in Kuching, you have the option to visit Semenggoh, a temporary home for various endangered wildlife in Sarawak, especially orangutans that have either been orphaned or rescued from captivity. Here, they’re trained in all the survival skills, to venture out into the wild and fend for themselves. This tour can be arranged either in the morning or afternoon, to make sure it fits with your day and you get to see feeding time with the the orangutans.
River sunset cruise
If you fancy a river sunset cruise, then in the late afternoon you’ll head to the jetty and board your boat taking you along Kuching’s famous city river. This is a great way to view Kuching from a different angle and will transport you back to a time when goods were shipped across the city, before the invention of modern roads. Sit back and relax on the deck, get yourself a drink, and watch the sun go down over the horizon… Bliss!
