Meet our local partner in Bhutan
Bhutan really is a once in a lifetime destination. To make sure your holiday runs as smoothly as possible, we work with a local partner on the ground. They’ll be on hand 24/7 to help you during your travels.
Throughout your holiday, you’ll also have a local guide and driver who’ll be with you every step of the way. They’ll be on hand to answer any questions you have about their beautiful country, as well as sharing some local tips to help you get that little bit closer to the real Bhutan.
Who are they?
Our Bhutanese local partner first began in 2003. Since then, they’ve built up a dedicated team who specialise in both cultural and trekking experiences. All their guides are trained and certified by the Tourism Council of Bhutan and are also provided with refresher training and trips to neighbouring countries to gain more experience.
Our partner operates from their head office in Thimphu – not too far from the clock tower. Their staff are experts on all things Bhutan and of course know all the myths, legends, and stories that make their mountain kingdom so enigmatic.
Making good things happen together
Like us, our local partners in Bhutan believe that good things can happen when we travel. They support small local projects across Bhutan, like Shoe Help; a not-for-profit organisation that collects used shoes and distributes them in rural areas.
Our partner holds bi-annual discussion forums for all their employees, giving them an opportunity to get more involved in business decisions. On top of this, all their staff are entitled to a yearly bonus and salary increase and are entitled to an emergency loan should they need it.
