Gemma
Travel SpecialistI’ve always had a passion for travel and adventure and was lucky enough to travel around the world for a year exploring Canada, South America, Fiji, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and India. When I returned home my thirst for travel intensified and I found myself already planning my next adventure – it was then I knew I had to turn this passion into a career.
I started working in the travel industry 11 years ago and since then I’ve visited some of the most remote places on the planet! From swimming with sperm whales in Dominica to traversing the infamous Northwest passage, my love for experiencing our incredible planet continues to grow. I feel very lucky to work within the travel industry and to talk about my passions every day.

I travel for...
Wildlife
I’ve always had a deep respect and interest in wildlife and visited countries where I could see wild animals in their natural habitat whenever I had the opportunity. From polar bears in Svalbard to scarlet macaws in the Peruvian amazon, I find the wildlife of any country fascinating and such an enriching experiencing that shouldn’t be missed.
Food
Food is my second passion, and I thrive on exploring new cuisines wherever I go. Immersing myself in the vibrant flavours and culinary traditions of each country is one of the main reasons I love to travel. I always make it a point to book a food tour as soon as I arrive in a new city, eager to experience the unique tastes that each destination has to offer.
Adventure
When travelling I always love to visit countries with a good mix of adventure and relaxation to make the most of my holiday experience! I love Africa for this very reason, the wineries are superb, the wildlife safaris are some of the best on the planet and you can always add in a good few days at the end of your trip on a stunning beach to relax and recharge. The perfect combination!
